Studies: Staff Picks

A study is a shareable, annotated chess board: several chapters, variations,
comments, arrows, and anyone you invite able to edit alongside you. People use
them for opening files, lesson notes, game analysis and puzzle collections.

Staff picks are studies we think are worth other people's time. HungKings is new
and does not yet have enough public studies to choose between honestly, so
rather than pad this page we have left it as it is.

It will fill up as the site grows.

In the meantime

Browse all public studies — they are sorted by what is being
read now. You can also look at studies by a player whose games you like: every
profile links to the studies they have made public.

Making your own

Anyone with an account can create a study. A few things that are not
obvious at first:

• a study can have many chapters, and a chapter can be a game, a position,
  or a blank board
• you can import a PGN straight into a chapter, including a whole tournament
• invite people and they can write in it with you, live
• setting a study to public is what makes it appear in the list above
